What’s Included in the Price
Price: $6385.00 CAD; $6066.00 USD. Twin occupancy, based on a minimum number of tour members participating. Tour starts at Bonham Hotel in Edinburgh, July 3rd; ends at Glasgow, July 19th.
Single supplement: $1350.00 per person CAD/USD.
Tour is limited to a maximum of 20 participants.
NOTE: The airfare between North America and Britain is not included in the tour
price above. It has been our experience that many of you will want to travel
from a variety of airports in the U.S. and Canada, or will wish to take
advantage of your frequent flyer points. In this way your trans-Atlantic flights
will be most convenient for you and your route planning will be very flexible.
Due to our access to special airline rates, we can calculate the most economical airfare for you depending on the dates you wish to fly, your departure city and the routing you prefer. Just let Joyce know: knitting@joycejamestours.com.
Joyce will be leaving from Toronto to Britain on July 2nd and you are welcome to travel to Edinburgh with her.
Price includes:
- Accommodation: 16 nights in twin-bedded rooms with ensuite facilities (toilet, private bath or shower).
- Meals: Daily full Scottish breakfast; 16 dinners.
- Private coaches throughout the tour.
- Five flights on Loganair.
- Two half-day workshops with members of Shetland Guild of Spinners, Weavers & Dyers.
- Transfers & porterage: includes one piece of checked baggage per person.
- Entry fees and local guides as detailed in itinerary, plus British Heritage Pass for admission to historic sites.
- All gratuities.
- Accompanied by an experienced tour escort throughout the itinerary.
Not included: Lunches, tea and coffee breaks, alcoholic beverages. Personal
items such as laundry, room service, telephone charges medical, travel and
baggage insurance, passport fees, single supplement, air tax and security fees,
fuel surcharge on Loganair. It is strongly recommended that you purchase travel
insurance—Joyce will give you advice on coverage and premiums.

- Deposit: $750.00 CAD/USD – immediately to save your place.
- Final payment: $5635.00 CAD/ $5316.00 USD. Due no later than May 7,2009. Plus single supplement if applicable; any air taxes and security fees on Loganair in effect at this time.
