Joyce is pleased to announce
that the popular,
knitting-themed trip to Scotland is going ahead in July 2009
despite contractions in the general tourism travel market.
Because enrollments on this year's trip are reflective of the tightening
economy, this tour will have fewer participants than normal. The
silver lining is that this is your chance to experience the very
popular Scottish Skeins & Skerries Tour within a smaller, more personal group - an
unusual opportunity for this exceptional knitting tour.

Flexible
itineraries... itineraries are designed
so you can add extra days, either before the trip begins or as a post-tour
extension. Most people prefer to travel together on the group flight, but since
you may be travelling elsewhere in Britain prior to the tour starting date, it
will be possible to join us at our first hotel stop.Should you be travelling with a companion who is
not as interested in textiles and related fields, other activities can be
planned--just let me know their interests. Some suggestions:
hiking, cycling, golf, fishing; archaeological sites, bird watching, genealogy,
visiting museums.
The
Details... All Joyce James Tour sizes are relatively small. The number of
participants is limited to assure a highly personal and enjoyable experience.
Early registration is recommended to avoid disappointment.
